Sanitary Support Initiative (SSI)

The event at Makhuphula High School was nothing short of inspiring. Elesure Pads had the honor of being invited to speak with the young women at the school, located in the heart of the Khayamandi community. At Makhuphula Hall, we donated 300 Elesure pads to the grade 12 girls, a gesture that brought immense joy and gratitude to everyone present.

The community and ward councilors from Khayamandi were deeply appreciative of this contribution, recognizing how impactful it would be in addressing a critical issue many young girls face. For these students, access to menstrual hygiene products can be a significant barrier to education, but thanks to Elesure Pads, we were able to provide them with the resources they need to continue their studies with dignity and confidence.

Nonhlanhla Zondi, our passionate brand ambassador, spoke to the girls about the importance of menstrual health and the advantages of using Elesure Pads. She shared not only how Elesure pads offer comfort and reliability but also highlighted how proud we are to be the only pad company that manufactures pads locally in South Africa. This makes a difference, not just in the quality and affordability of the product but also in empowering our own communities by creating local jobs and supporting South African innovation.

The gratitude and smiles from the young women of Makhuphula High School were priceless, and the impact of this event was felt far beyond the walls of the school. By working together, we’re helping to ensure that every girl has the opportunity to pursue her education, free from the stigma and challenges that come with menstruation.

We are grateful to be part of such a powerful movement for change. Thank you to the Khayamandi community and the Makhuphula High School for inviting us to be a part of their journey. We look forward to continuing to support these girls and many more across South Africa.
